Insurance is complex and fragmented. Our challenge was to make multiple policies from various providers, across categories from personal and business to professional indemnity and funeral, feel like part of the same platform.
We also needed to drastically improve the entire insurance experience by simplifying the quotes, cover, claims and policy management processes.
But that’s not all, the E.I. team also needed to be able to build their own flows going forward and scale the platform.
We empowered end-users with full control over their policies by allowing them to choose, tailor and compare quotes from various insurers and personalise their benefits.
We designed a central platform that enables users to manage their entire insurance portfolio. This includes the ability to add, pause, or remove policies and items, obtain additional quotes, adjust excess or even switch to a different insurer for a better deal.
When people claim, they’re not having a great day. So we designed a claims flow that prioritises the user's physical and emotional comfort.
We divided the claims flow into simple steps that can be completed in multiple sessions, users can skip and return to questions, and request emergency services. All while receiving guidance and support throughout the journey.
The ultimate result was a flexible, scalable design system and framework. It keeps things simple for the user, while giving the team tools to create customised flows for anything from quotes, to claims, to underwriting.
